Bently Nevada 330130-080-01-00 3300 XL Extension Cable
What It Is
This extension cable from Bently Nevada works for tough industrial jobs. It’s an 8-meter armored cable (26.2 feet) that’s extra strong. Comes with silicone tape (but don’t use it where turbine oil touches the connection). Uses smart tech to keep parts connected tight.
Model Numbers Explained
330130: Main code for 3300 XL extension cables.
080: Cable length – 8 meters (26.2 feet).
01: Cable type – Armored (thicker, lasts longer).
00: No special approvals needed.
Key Specs
Length: 8 meters (26.2 feet).
Weight: 0.824 kg (armored), 0.272 kg (non-armored).
Resistance:
Center wire: 1.76 ± 0.26 Ω.
Outer wire: 0.53 ± 0.11 Ω.
Capacitance: 69.9 pF/m (21.3 pF/ft) on average.
Power: Needs -17.5 Vdc to -26 Vdc (without barriers); -23 Vdc to -26 Vdc with barriers.
Sensitivity: Less than 2 mV change for each volt change.
Output resistance: 50 Ω.
Linear range: 2 mm (80 mils), from 0.25 mm to 2.3 mm (10 to 90 mils).
Smart Design
TipLoc: Makes the probe tip stick better to the body.
CableLoc: Holds the probe cable tight (330 N pull strength).
FluidLoc (optional): Stops oil/liquids from leaking inside the cable.
Seal: Uses a Viton® O-ring (probes not tested before shipping; ask for tests if needed).
Install Tips
Use 16-24 AWG shielded triad wire for field connections (max 305 meters).
Make sure probe length + extension cable length = Proximitor Sensor total length.
Avoid silicone tape where turbine oil hits the probe-cable joint.
Works With
Pairs with 3300 XL 8 mm Proximitor Sensors, probes, and parts. Best with AISI 4140 steel targets – accuracy drops with other targets.
